Marathon, 13 September 2021 – The Attica-based company Marathon® Plants announces their new brand and the future strategy the board will implement.
After a steady course of 33 years, the second generation has decided there is a need to invest in a new brand to penetrate European markets more efficiently, add value to their product range and help the company communicate with the end-customer more directly
The re-brand aims to reinforce the company’s core values internally and communicate them properly to our clients, partners, and the end-customer. Additionally, the new brand will include the company’s entire assortment, ranging from Hibiscus to Gardenia and Anigozanthos to all the Australian natives.
Anastasios Kalantzis, Production Director of Marathon® Plants, commented: “We are proud of the company we have created thus far, but we felt like we needed a strong brand to assist us in getting the edge over our competition and increase the value of our product portfolio as a whole.” Chara Kalantzis, Sales Director of the company, added: “We are extremely enthusiastic about the re-brand. We feel that we will now have a strong identity that will complement our products and drive sales even further”.
In conclusion, this re-brand marks the beginning of the company’s marketing strategy. Aiming towards a more modern and standardized approach towards plant production, Marathon® looks towards improving more core aspects of the company, like Operations, Information Technology, and marketing.
